After 10 years in the field of education, Dr. Zamor took a leap into veterinary medicine to follow her true passion, helping ensure animals get the love and care they unquestionably deserve. She joined the Army during veterinary school and served in WA, Korea, and AZ where she provided care to military working dogs and the personal pets of service members.
While her military service continues as a veterinarian at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Dr. Zamor also is part of The Cat Doctor team as much as possible. She is particularly passionate about behavior and was drawn to The Cat Doctor for the focus on reducing patient stress and catering to the unique needs of felines.
“Nothing brings me more joy than being able to work in an environment that is focused on providing care for the whole patient, medically and emotionally. I strive to ensure that the needs of each of my patients are met and that every owner has the resources needed to make a happy feline home. When you and your cat are happy, I am happy.”
In order to enhance her ability to treat the behavioral needs of her patients, Dr. Zamor became certified in both the Human-Animal bond and Fear-Free practices.
